Sunrise Walk

This image was taken one very cold, winter morning on the Friendship Trail on the Fox Crossing, WI side of the bridge. It was a beautiful day, with not a soul in sight. I set up my tripod to take a photo when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned to see a jogger coming in my direction, so I picked up my gear, and stepped to the side to let her pass. I waited until she was well out of range of my lens before setting back up again. Her timing was perfect, and I wish I could thank her for coming through, because one of my favorite elements of this image are the barely visible footprints in the frost on the bridge.
