This image is of the marina along Lake Michigan in my hometown of Sheboygan, WI. This was actually taken a little later than my usual sunrise photo shoot. I had been at the south pier just before sunrise, but was disappointed when the clouds covered the sun. So, I began heading back to my parents’ home, about two miles away. I was nearly to their street when I looked in my rearview mirror and saw the breathtaking clouds, with the sun finally peeking through. I turned the car around and was able to get back in time to capture this amazing view. The morning wasn’t a bust, after all.
